Well, Molly is really really sick. Like, can't-hardly-walk sick. She spent the night at the vet and is being tested for Addison's disease. She has "acute renal failure" from what Cherity has told me. Right now I'm pretty doubtful about her future. I'm going to try to visit her at the vet on my lunch break or after work.
I know she's just a dog but it still gives you that sinking feeling especially when you see how sick she is. It hurts for her to walk or even stand and she won't eat anything. She's actually on I.V.'s right now................time will tell...

Here is a link about Addison's Disease, though I'm sure that you did a search on it already. Sorry to hear about Molly, with Gypsy it was so hard to see her towards the end when she got really sick. Hopefully things will be able to be dealt with and Molly will turn around for you guys!

That stinks you guys. Poor Molly. They don't know what's going on. I helped a lot of dogs at the end with my dad, I was always grateful when our family dog just walked out in the woods and never came back.
It's probably tough for the kids too.
Jen, Thanks for the link. Cherity has done a ton of research. We'll find out the verdict tomorrow. It would be good if it was Addison's because then we have something to treat. If it's not... well then she's most likely a goner.
Molly, I'm not sure how much it will effect Sebby, although he did say he was mad at the girl who took Molly for a run. I guess he correlated the fact that she took Molly and brought her back sick as it being her fault. Cherity has explained to him that this isn't the case. It's interesting what ideas they develop on their own. I wasn't sure he was acknowledging/understanding what was going on. Seb also said he didn't want a dog. But that was in reference to having a sick dog. Owen has been very understanding of the facts and has been dwelling on those for the most part. "Our dog is really sick and she might die" is what you would hear Owen say. I'm not sure how he'll do if she doesn't make it through this.
I keep checking your blog to see if Molly is O.K.
For someone who isn't particularly a dog person I really am hoping that she pulls through this and can get back to her normal zesty approach to life. I like Molly.
Well she doesn't have Addison's so they are going to fill her full of antibiotics hoping that it is something that antibodies will fight. That's our last hope. We wont have a good idea for a couple of days.
