Lumberpick

Nothing entirely new up here in Winona these days. The leaves are changing. The boys are wild. Molly's still sick as.... well, a dog. Works been somewhat challenging and somewhat brain-numbing/repetitive at times too. There will be a huge shake-up in the work world as we are changing ERP systems. This is going to be a major overhaul and I don't know what that means for me. Possibly some great opportunities to learn some new stuff.... possibly an opportunity to get downsized. The process will take some time to happen so I should see the writing on the wall before anything drastic happens. I have to keep an open mind on this whole ERP thing because it's going to require me to change some thoughts on how we approach business processes. From what I can tell about the new system is it isn't going to change for us, rather we have to change for it. There are opportunities around every corner aren't there?

I just finished reading the boys library books and they both conked out pretty quickly. Seb while I was reading and Owen pretty quickly thereafter. We read Lentil, Souperchiken, I Saw an Ant in a Parking Lot, and The Floating House. And that was the most exciting part of my day. Tomorrow I'm going skydiving.
