Things seem stable today so far. They did an X-ray this morning. There had been some issues with the lungs being bruised on the initial X-ray but the one this morning had cleared up quite a bit. The Spleen thing is just a wait and see thing. They said on a scale from 1-5, 5 being the worst, that his spleen is about a 4. The spleen had lost it's form or shape from the weight of the car. If he goes 30 hours stable then they will move him down to the Pediatrics ward.
I went home to get some clothes and toiletries this morning and stopped by the toy store on my way back to get him a few things. He perked up a little but I could tell he was still in a lot of pain just based on how immobile he has been.
Seb went on a wagon ride around the hospital and remained stable and has been so since. That's a good thing. They said, when and if we bring him home in the next couple of days, that he'll need to stay somewhat immobile to protect his spleen i.e. no wresting with his brother and stay away from Molly (our 7 month old black lab). I've been telling people Molly will be converted in to a basement/backyard dwelling dog or I will be creating some massive barriers throughout the house. The former is most likely though.
Thank You once again for all your thoughts and prayers.
