Lumberpick

Ran about 6.5 in about 6:50-6:55 pace. Felt ok. Not great. I wish I could wear less clothesin the winter. The sun was at least out. The pace got progressively faster. I'm not sure how I'm going to hold up on the long run tommorow. My plan is to run at least 10 miles (maybe 11.5..?) I took Owen to the barber this morning so we could both get our hair cut. Mines pretty short. About a 4 on the clipper scale I guess. Cherity took off for La Leche League with Marnie this morning and it's just me and Owen. We've played memory with regular playing cards (Owen rules). We then played with the lincoln logs. We took the long way home and I pulled over down by the train tracks so Owen could see this mini-train engine that pulls some of the train cars araound. It was some sort of hybrid that had tires and train wheels. Kinda neat. I asked Owen if he wanted to go back and take a picture of it. He wasn't interested. I almost missed the local Christmas tree pickup this morning. Some truck drove past our house this morning with a tractor trailer (the type that typically hold hay bails) full of christmas trees. I guess your supposed to dump your tree @ the corner of the block. I yelled over to them and ran down the street with Christmas tree in hand so I could get rid of it. Close call. We had to get a sharp needled fir too. Just a little painful and a little bit of pine tar on my hands when all was said and done.
