I went to a karaoke bar Friday night. One of my co-workers wanted to go and since I don't have anything to do except for stare at the walls or the TV... I went along. We drove in to some strange neighborhood to find it. And who in their right mind actually looks for a dive of a place where they can sing in front of people who they've never met, people who may have had too much to drink? Well, a guy named Sal from Brooklyn who loves Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones songs. A guy who also does a darn good Frank Sinatra impression. Sal is totally "Brooklyn" too. He's like one of those guys you see in a mob movie. Talk, walk, and look... a good catholic Sicilian boy with a gold chain bracelet.... and he doesn't hold anything in.. (he likes to talk which is fine with me... that means I don't have to all that much). So anyway... Terry, Sal, and I went to this Karaoke restaurant/bar and I watched Sal knock everybody's socks off. He actually started out with Bobby Darin's "Mack the Knife" and no he didn't need to read the screen at all. You could tell Sal lives for this.

Saturday, I took a walk to the Cherry Creek State Park which I can't say I was all that impressed with and today I went to Best Buy and looked at cameras but still not sure how much I want to spend on that. I looked at the Nikon D40 which was nice. I've seen it action since Chad and Robin have one but the professional style camera's don't have video so I'm not sure and I don't know if I would be willing to fork out more money for different lenses. The other options is a Canon Powershot but I don't think you can snap off pictures as quickly as the higher end camera's do. It always seems what you really would like to get is always a little more money that you want to spend....

5 more days because I get to see my fam again!
