We'll be heading up to Luck and then Duluth tomorrow. Looking forward to it even though it's supposed to rain Thursday and Friday. Our neighbor has volunteered to watch the pups for us and I'm happy to say that our pups are getting better at the potty training thing. Just tonight they both, on separate occasions, went to the back door and sat waiting for me to let them outside. Dougal even whined to get my attention and as soon as he went outside he did his business. A proud moment I must say. I still can't get over how mellow the pups are. They do wrestle with each other quite mercilessly on a regular basis but that's the extent of their effort. The rest of the time their only interests are sleeping and eating.
I took Chad's advice and started reading "Marley and Me" which is a book about a very hyper dog. He said he thought of the book whenever he saw Molly wag her tail. Molly never "just" wagged her tail, it was the whole back end that wagged. I've already read the first 200 pages. The book brings back fond memories as Marley and Molly shared many of the same exuberant characteristics.
One of the boys shoved this fake bone in Dougal's collar. He didn't seem to care.

Sebby and the pups exploring

A commercial fishing boat on the Mississippi. Just an over sized flat bottom boat.

Waiting for a treat.

Love the picture of Seb and the pups. It seems right that boys have dogs. Almost an extension of what it means to be a boy.
Hope to see you guys around Christmastime.
Lots of Love to you and your family
