I was hoping that you would wait before putting on that explanation of the picture and see who knew what that was. :-) I wondered how many would have been like me and not known. Ha! We're all looking forward to next spring! Thank you to Owen for calling me up and telling me the good news!
Doggone it. When Bethany was born we all went to the bike shop and bought new bikes as well as a pull behind trailer for our baby Bethany. We gave it to our neighbor's daughter about 2 years ago. I guess we can never tell how to plan those things, in the way of saving stuff for relatives that might need it. Ha. The bike trailers are great. Very light weight and I always felt Bethany was very secure in it, provided the driver is not overly reckless :).
By the way...so happy for you on the wonderful news of Baby Pick #3!!! Wow, another niece to balance out all the Pick grandson population would be splendid!! The boys would only be up on the girls by one. :) That would be so cool. Course another little boy would be fun too. Can't wait to see what he/she will look like!
We actually have two bike trailers both of which were given to us. We got one of them from Molly and John years ago and the other one is a Burly that some friends found on a curb to be thrown away. Burly's are a spendy brand and this one is faded pretty bad but other than that has no issues.
I don't know if hauling an infant in a bike trailer is practical but I'm getting way ahead of myself.
Actually, I used one of those bike seats when Kohler was a little bigger but we also put the carseat in the trailer. Randy Peterson figured out a way to safely put his kids in the trailer when they were little little guys with the carseats.
I know you were just comments, but there's more advice from the peanut gallery.
Hope Cherity is feeling well and the boys are excited to be brothers again.
Ours was a Burly/Burley. Cannot remember the spelling. It is a good brand. When Bethany was a newborn, we put stuffed animals and blankets all around her to keep her propped up and tucked in. I think the girls probably thought of the stuffed animals :). It seemed to work pretty well.

Yeah
We are happy for you. We think you guys are great parents. And thoughtful parents. We always have. Those babes are lucky to have you.
With love (and of course a twinge of jealousy;)
Molly
Thanks,
A girl would be nice. I guess we do hope for one but hoping doesn't get us very far: )
Don't they mike bike trailers for babies?

AWESOME!!! We're so excited for you guys! I'll continue to frequently check posts for a potential due date....
At first I was puzzled, wondering if the picture was a computer modem and was intrigued when I saw no immediate explanation and 10 posts... !
Not only are you guys fabulous parents, but you're populating the earth with some pretty adorable kids!
BLESSINGS TO YOU!
Love, sis h.
