Back to Winona.

Ok, so this is a return to my -this is what I've been doing-this is where things are at-blog

So me and the family picked up our stuff and moved to Winona, MN from Platteville, WI. We've been here for about 6 months. I took a job @ the UBC helpdesk taking calls from centers answering procedural questions and anything that has to do with the UBC computer system. Kinda busy right now due to the inventory season. Sort of sucked that just after I did all the work I did on our house we up and moved. I pretty much worked every waking hour of the day until I had the job done. (about 3 months.) Put new windows in, new exterior doors. Put insulation board over the existing siding. Installed the siding and soffit and fascia. Had to rip out the old subfascia first and put new subfascia up. Installed steel roofing on the house too. Each one of these jobs was incredibly hard but it was an incredibly satisfying thing to have done pretty much by myself and a few close friends/volunteers here and there.

Anyway, so in Winona now and biking to work every day and biking home for lunch too. I'm bracing myself for the winter which I really have a hard time with. Cherity was just talking about maybe getting a membership to the YMCA which we couldn't afford @ the normal rate. She said they do offer scholarships though, so we might have to look into that.

Out,

Aaron
