Whitewater State Park Pictures

Owen found this rock and wanted to keep it because he said it reminded him of the rock that was in front of Jesus tomb. If I asked him where this rock is now, my guess would be that he would have no idea. Owen made the whole hike himself. He had a long day. He looks a little tired in this picture.

Nate, did you do this?

Pictures from Whitewater State Park

Ouch! Sebby was on my shoulders and I walked him right through a branch. We didn't realize he got scratched so badly until about 10 minutes after he calmed down. Sebby was walking right in front of me so I caught his picture.

Pick Family Chistmas cont.

Pictures from the Pick early Christmas

Just a small portion of the chaos. I think someone counted 20 family members. 3 brothers, 3 sisters and their families.
Owen and Julia mesmerized by a toy.

Pictures from Thanksgiving # 2 Palmer-style

Chad and Rick draggin the Cline's beheameth tree to the truck.
The boys and a picture of me looking dorky.
Sebastian was helping put the ornaments up. Notice the broken ones in the background.

If anybody knows something about digital camera's let me know. I was playing around with the settings and now all our pictures seem to be much more blurry than they used to?

Like, what's SHQ and HQ and SQ1 and SQ2??? What is ISO? I have 400, 800, and 1600 settings and then I reset to defaults and now I have Auto, 64, 100, and 200??? I gotta read the manual. Or maybe I'll just keep saying "I gotta read the manual!".

Pictures from Belle Plaine visit.

My brother has an impulse control issue with buying toys and I take advantage of it when I go to his house in Belle Plaine. I don't know where you get these little scooters from but they're battery powered and Andy and Ronda have two of them. Molly was pretty excited about them too. Silliness.

All of these pictures were taken by Ronda. She does a great job of photography.

I just like this picture and I don't have enough pictures of Sebby. He won't sit still.

Owen blowing up Andy's Whoopi cushion. (It takes a long time to fill a whoopi up with spit.)

Mike D. is 30.

This weekend we went to Mike D's 30th birthday party. Mike and Leah are great hosts and cooks and we had a great time. Cherity's Mom was good enough to pick up the boys and bring them to Luck so Cherity and I could go to the party together.
Labor Day Weekend in Luck.

All of the pictures shown here are from Labor day weekend in Luck. Owen is helping us move firewood. Sebastian found a caterpillar and Nate showing off his Bling.

Pictures from last weekend.

Sebastian getting a ride on Daddy's shoulders. He's not a very fast walker.

Can you see the gears turning in the brain of the little boy in the back of the boat? Posted by Picasa

Life

One of the great enjoyments in life is sitting on a motor boat as it speeds down the lake or river and feeling the summer wind against your face as you see the shore line move along. I think Owen may be in agreement with me on that one. This picture was taken on Lake Pepin which is just a wider part of the Mississippi. Beautiful area. If you have a boat it would be a great vacation area. Posted by Picasa

Baby Fletcher.

I know the photograph isn't the greatest but I thought it captured a lot including a conked out Eli in the background. I haven't had a chance to meet Fletcher yet. I'm not sure when that will happen. Posted by Picasa

Whitewater State Park.

This first picture is actually after about 30 minutes of walking up, up, up a rocky dirt path. The grass field was at the top. This picture is just before we hit the trails. Beautiful Trout stream behind us.
This is me reinacting some cheesy movie or winning an imaginary marathon. I know I'm a geek, don't need to be reminded, thank you.
