We spent the night in Kearney, NE the first night and stayed with my sister Lee the next night. We then drove up to Luck, WI and stayed at Cherity's parents on Fri, Sat, and Sunday night. We watched many of the Palmer's play in a softball tournament and also was able to get some fishing in as well. We then went down to Winona and spent some time there with our house and some Winona friends. We then went down to Platteville and stayed Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri night at mom and dad's house and hung out with the Cline's and my brother and my parents, and my nephews. From there we went to Chicago to meet up with my sister Heather. This is the short version of our vacation. I didn't take as many pictures as I wish I had. I didn't get hardly any pictures of anyone. I'm not very good at that stuff and Cherity apparently isn't either: )
Oh, also on the drive back to Colorado there was a tornado/thunderstorm directly in our way on I-80 and we realized the severity of the storm just as we were passing the Stratford's (my sister Lee's family) so we hung out for a couple of ours and watched a river develop in their back yard.
The whole trip was relaxing. My only complaint is my back side is a little sore from doing so much sitting in the car.
