This weekend I watched a 30-something mother swallow a goldfish on a dare and a 20 dollar bet (a goldfish that was sitting in a goblet for table decoration at a wedding). I instigated but didn't really think anyone would take me up on it and when Unter and Schneider realized Jess would seriously do it they whipped out their billfolds with lightning speed.
It was good to see old friends and I wished I could have stayed longer but oh well.. thus is the life of having boys who need naps
... I wonder what a goldfish tastes like?
We took the boys to the telethon on Sunday. We were "on" for about 1 and a half minutes and in that time Sebastian managed to maneuver from Cherity's arm to mine and blow in to my mic loud enough to make my boss laugh. My boss, who happened to stumble upon the ordeal while channel surfing.
I handed the mic back to the tech in two pieces with an embarrassed smile. The small amount of time it takes Seb to destroy something is quite impressive.

I do the live family interviews for our telethon and personally LOVE the kids just being kids! Some parents have been horrified (thinking their children should probably sit up straight and not talk or grab the stuffed animals carefully placed about..) I'm all for "rip the place up - we only do this once a year!
:)
h.
I like that philosophy
