The picture above is of Platteville. They didn't even get half of what we got in Winona. If you click on the picture you'll see Winona's snow.

We spent our extended weekend in Platteville and drove home to Winona yesterday afternoon. It wasn't too hairy of a ride. It was actually pretty clear up until Coon Valley. After that, we slowed it down some due to road conditions. When we pulled up to our house we couldn't believe how much snow we had. I haven't got an official count but it looks like 2 feet or better. I've never seen this much snow before in real life. I don't think we ever had this much snow at one time when I was a kid. I felt like a mole shoveling out tunnels in the snow. I'll probably be sore tomorrow. (I don't think I'll be biking to work any time soon.)

We had a good time hanging out with Robin and Chad. Robin is still healing from knee surgery and Chad is back to the daily grind of work. Eli and Sebby played really well together and Owen and Eli played well together most of the time as well, which as much as we can expect right now I suppose. It was also good to hang out with Mom and talk about whatever came to mind. (We stayed with my parents.)
