Oy!

I just got done teaching a day and a half beginer's class on our MIS program. Now I have a headache. The class went as well as can be expected. No major catastrophe's. I was never in front of the class with my zipper down anyway, which actually is amazing to both Cherity and myself. I've joked with Cherity that I thought that the part of my brain that reminds me to zip my zipper up after going to the bathroom had a blow out or something because I've had such a hard time zipping up my zipper lately. I typically just forget at home. I know, I know, TMI.

The details about the class would bore you because... well... were talking about MIS and if you don't know what that is, you probably don't want to. I'll just leave it at it's tough to teach a bunch of people with different job-titles who may not ever even use what your showing them.

I was super nervous about doing the class because the longest I've ever spoken in front of anyone was about 5 minutes, so I blew that personal best right out of the water. The nervousness left me rather quickly. Anyway it was a first. I raise my glass to firsts! Cheers!

One other thing that was interesting is I had to take all these people (11 of them out to lunch) and even though my company is covering the whole shindig, everone thanks you for dinner. Wierd. We went to Greenmill for supper.

So the Badgers won in Basketball; my class is over; and I think I'll go for a walk.

So glad that you got your speaking assignment accomplished :). I've done a couple speaking thingys in the past and let's just say, I know my husband has me in that area. I have all kinds of anxiety before I speak in front of more than 4 or 5 people.. but as you say, it does get better once one get started. And helps even more when you know what you are talking about.

I'm proud of you.

Love to you all,

Lee :)
