Hello World.

That should be every geeks first post if they start a blog. If you're a geek you know what I'm talking about.... Not that funny. I know.

A little chillier this morning than it has been lately. 23 deg. I've been spoiled the last week or so with warmer weather. Need more global warming! Molly has really been getting winded lately...? She's fine while we're out, but when we get home she's zonked. Last night she was laying on her side and almost hyperventilating. This morning she zonked and I think one of her limbs fell asleep cause she came limping in to me and now she's not limping anymore.

Gotta mention two blogger friends. House of Cline has a blog about family and adventures in prison life (teaches at a prison) and Mythic Reality just got back from Mexico. Posted some pictures as well, although I don't think they're his pictures, unless he learned to fly a helicopter, dyed his hear, and changed his name to Ruiz. Mythic's been all over the world on non-profit stuff. Gosh! I know really interesting people! Everyone in my links list is cool and interesting. I'm just giving these guys extra props this morning cause they're the only two I know that post early enough for me to read @ 6:30 A.M... which is very satisfying for me.

Owen had a Birthday party this weekend. There was one blow-up by Owen. I guess if I had super great fore-thought I would have been able to dodge it, but I'm not super-dad and it happened and due to the circumstances it was kinda awkward. Come to think of it, I don't think Owen felt all that embararassed. No. The only feeling he was experiencing was self-righteous indignation, judgement, and victim-hood... 5 year olds! Go figure. Parents are down right nuts for holding those parties!

Watched Superman Returns this weekend. A fun movie to watch. I especially like the part where Superman is floating in space with his eyes closed, listening (he can hear everything going on because he's Superman) and just waiting for something to happen. He hears something and then quick opens his eyes and darts off. To me that was very cool. It kinda got me thinking about how He could see and understand more than any one us without even opening his eyes. I'm a very visual person and the ocular devices have alway been a necessity in my mind. It never occured to me (or I don't remember it ever occuring to me) until that movie that perhaps maybe God doesn't have eyes because he doesn't need them and can see way more than us without them. Small minded I know. I guess I needed a visual aid:-)

Also saw Nacho Libre, which was hilarious and silly and soon to be on it's way back to Netflix' processing site along with Superman Returns.

I really wanted to take the new bike out for a long ride this weekend. It may have been my last opportunity before the snow flies. Didn't have time though. Can't do it on weekdays because I work during the lighted hours.... Except for tomorrow! I have tomorrow off for working Saturday. I might have to plan something in there for that. Maybe a nice ride to Fountain City and back or to Stockton (too hilly?) ... ah the possibities are endless.
