Owen lined this fish today. 18.5". Probably 4-5 lbs. Dad got the assist.

This picture is to show how heavy it is. You can see it in Owen's face that it's somewhat of a struggle to keep it up.
This one would have been the perfect shot, had he not moved his arm at the last second. It does show how big the fish is though.
Owen and I were fishing along the dyke a couple blocks from our house. Owen wedged his pole in between some boulders so he could wade along the shore and I was in the middle of asking what he thinks he was going to do if his bobber dissapeared. A few moments later Owen's bobber dissapeared and I was of course "I told you so!" So Owen grabs hold of his fishing line and starts pulling. I ask Owen if he needs help and he doesn't answer at first and then asks for help so I reeled the fish in a bit and let it swim away a few times before we landed it. Owen stringed (or strung?) the fish and we put it in the bucket.

Owen's got the casting thing down now too. That's my boy!
