A camping Weekend.

Was good but hot. Did a lot of fishing but didn't catch much. Did a lot of sitting around campfires and sweating. Cohabitated with the mosquito's but kept them away by using a deet ladened product and I'm not sure what is worse, feeling like I sprayed myself with maple syrup or slapping every limb protruding from my abdomen that wasn't clothed.

Just got done reading some of the posts from www.mythicreality.blogspot.com
Very insightful and inspiring. Highly recommended. Some good short stories with some very good analogies. I especially liked http://mythicreality.blogspot.com/2005/10/journey-to-desire.html
It's all good so far from what I've read.

Work is changing up a little. The person hired to train has left the company within 6 months of taking the position so I and the rest of my dept. will be in charge of training all facets of the MIS program.

You know that sound that comes from a balloon when you release the air and stretch the sphincter to make a high pitch squeel? That's the sound that is being made in the other room by my son. He is over-tired and has not learned anything beyond the self and continually will not stop whining. If you have any ideas without spanking him or bullying him let me know. He wants to watch Shrek II but is not allowed. My first urge is to shake him until his teeth rattle but that wouldn't be prudent I suppose.

I gotta go take care of this I'll post more later.

10 minutes later.

We told him if he kept it up, the movie was going in the trash. That worked. He knew we were serious. I think that was the important part. Him knowing we were serious. Feel free to give your opinions on what we did wrong or right so I can agree with you or tell you you're a retard. I'll be equally as gracious with my reply as you are with your comment. Just kidding. The whole parenting thing is interesting to me. Or should I say the whole "how other people feel free to tell others how they should be parenting regardless to any circumstance" is interesting. Interesting, in a "I-can't-believe-you-think-this-is-any-of-your-business-interesting". Whatever. I suppose I'm a little sensitive about the whole parenting. I want to a be a better parent, but I don't want to screw up my kid by putting the hammer down either. Love him, but not spoil him or screw him up. I have to admit that I have a desire to put the hammer down but have to put the brakes on or if my brakes don't work my wife applies herself to the situation, which is why two heads are better than one.

Back to the weekend. I'll post some pictures if I have any good ones.
