Second time is a charm.

This post was called "Had the day off and had a great day" but I lost the post somehow.

Anyway,

I woke up this morning @ 8:30 which is the equivelant of waking up @ 1:00 pm in college. I mean, that's late! Anyway, Seby's stinky diaper got me out of bed. I toted him downstairs and set him down in the attempt to not let Cherity know that I knew Seby had something special in the back end. It worked. I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and I could hear Seb gagging. For some reason after he poops he forgets that the poop is back there and sticks his hand down his diaper pulls it out and the smell and the fact that he has feces on his hand makes him gag repeatedly as if he's about to puke. Cherity just happened to have just picked up Seb when this began. I of course would never wish that on my wife but what can I say? Better her than me. Right?

After that I went with Cherity and the kids to ECFE where Cherity and other mother's get together and talk about parenting and parenting concerns. It's really cool actually. The conversation totally applies and everything seems a little more clear listening to a bunch of veteran mom's talk about parenting.

Then, back to the homestead for a quick bite to eat and then off to McNally's landing where we went fishing. The water was too high and the boys kept scaring any supposed fish away by throwing sticks, rocks, fish accesory packaging and a rubber glove in to the water. The most exciting thing about that was getting carded by the Federal Game warde/DNR guy and seeing half of the trails under water. So we went to Rogans shoes and Owen and I got sandals.

From that point we went home and Cherity read the book "The Alchemist" aloud outside as I listened and Seb napped which was incredibly relaxing. We then cooked out. It felt like the weekend all over again. Good stuff.
